What does International British Academy stand for?

The International British Academy (IBA) is a private international school in Cavite founded in 2001. Starting with just 3 classrooms and 35 students, the school’s population quickly increased to 156 and moved to a new and bigger facility in Imus, Cavite in April 2005.

The school believes that while striving for academic excellence, it is crucial to bring out what is best for each child. The competent, dedicated and caring teachers guide students to develop their full intellectual, creative, and physical potential with goals of fostering self-esteem, independence, intellectual curiosity and moral character.

While the company believes that small-sized class setup is more efficient for a classroom, it offers curriculum from Preschool to Secondary levels promoting the use of English as the primary medium of instruction and communication to cater its students that come from different nationalities.

International British Academy is recognized by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) which was replaced by the Department for Children, Schools, and Families) in the United Kingdom as well as the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines with the permission to offer pre-school, grade school, and high school.
