What does GLOBIS University stand for?

GLOBIS University, also known as Globis University Graduate School of Management is a private institution in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 1992 by Yoshito Hori, a Japanese entrepreneur. GLOBIS received its university status in 2006.

GLOBIS University is known for its MBA programs which include Full-time MBA (English), Part-time and Online MBA (English), Part-time MBA (Japanese), and Online MBA (Japanese). Graduates from these programs will receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the university. The MBA programs take 2 years and can be extended to a maximum of 5 years if the student chooses to extend. Meanwhile, the Full-time MBA (English only) takes 1 year and is extendable to a maximum of 2 years.

GLOBIS courses focus on practical, relevant business skills delivered by top industry professionals. Students will find a technology-driven curriculum designed to equip them with the expertise necessary in the digital era. The university has an annual intake capacity of 860 students (Japanese program 760 students, English program 100 students).
