What does Chinese International School Manila stand for?

Chinese International School Manila (CISM) is a private international school in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Established in 2007, CISM offers the K-12 education program as well as the two-year, globally-recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) ideal for Grade 11 and 12 students who wish to pursue their studies in higher education institutions overseas.

English is the medium of instruction used in the school. In addition, Lessons in Mandarin are also given to CISM students from preschool to high school. There’s an incorporation of the Chinese culture in the school curriculum as well. Filipino is taught to foreign students who wish to study in Philippine universities. Other exclusive offerings include subjects in Drama, Visual Arts, and Digital Information Literacy that are part of its high school curriculum. Summer programs which may involve immersions outside the country are also offered by CISM.

CISM is accredited by both Philippine and Internationally-based organizations. Locally, the school is recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd). It is also a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and has accreditation from the Geneva-based International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), recognizing it as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

Chinese International School Manila has always been committed to providing quality, internationally-recognized education and developing its students into empowered and competitive professionals.
