Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) has been providing technical and further education in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and its surrounding areas for more than 90 years. It has six campuses: Bruce, Fyshwick, Gungahlin, Reid, Tuggeranong, and Woden. All campuses have world-class libraries, information technology resources and sporting and recreational facilities.
CIT offers apprenticeships, certificate level trainings, diplomas, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in the fields of health, engineering, business, science, information technology, construction, and service trades. Every year, CIT trains these programs to around 20 000 students. CIT also offers the Skills Recognition Program, which is for students who do not want to learn what they have already learned in the past. This program can siginificantly reduce the students' study time.
