What does Box Hill Institute stand for?

Box Hil Institute was established in 1924 and was initially named as Box Hill Technical School for Girls. Twenty years leater, Box Hill Boys Technical School was established nearby and the two schools merged in 1984 to form Box Hill TAFE. The school was renamed as Box Hill Institute in 1995. 

Box Hill Institute offers short courses, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in the fields of animal studies, arts, aviation, business, culinary, finance, health, marketing, music, fitness, etc. Their vocational and higher education are nationally accredited and internationally recognized.

Students of this institution are from all over the world and the school takes pride in them. Box Hill Institute alumni who graduated within 6 months after graduation hold an 85% employment rate and some of them earn a higher salary than university graduates. These graduates are a product of the institution's quality education that is recognized internationally. Box Hill Institute was awarded the Large Training Provider of the Year in the Australian Training Awards.
