The curriculum of the BS in Chemical Engineering program was created to give a holistic training in chemical engineering within the context of agro-industrial development. The students are provided with flexible and well-rounded courses that will enable them think critically and creatively, using the basic tools in the field, to solve the challenges of the chemical, as well as agro industries, with a mindset of sustainability and a multidisciplinary approach. The UPLB environment, rich in resources on agricultural research and a culture of sustainable development, has given the chemical engineering program a unique flavor in the university.
