The BA in Philosophy program harnesses the student’s critical thinking, creativity, innovativeness and sensitivity to Philippine issues. The thrust of the program is to produce graduates who will exert pioneering efforts to uncover, highlight, and examine indigenous Filipino thought through speculative analysis. The program centers on the role of research and extension in the uncovering of the richness of the Filipino mind embedded in Philippine culture, arts, politics and folkways throughout Philippine history.
