For applicants who have graduated High School abroad and has not enrolled in college:
completion of High School program in the country where he had his secondary education
Qualifying in a college-qualifying national or international foreign-administered examination (GCE, SAT, or IB Diploma)
TOEFL, in the case of an applicant whose native language or whose medium of instruction in the secondary school is not English
A graduate from a high school abroad who fails to satisfy the requirements for automatic admission (i.e., Item 2 under General Requirements) may take the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT)
General Requirements for Admission:
accomplished foreign application form (UP Form No. 3.1- revised 10-3)
a non-refundable application fee of PhP150 for resident foreign students and USD30 for non-resident foreign students
two (2) copies of one’s official transcript of records from each high school and college attended and official examination certificates if any
course syllabus, school catalog, and handbook of examination
two (2) copies of certification from a reputable bank in the applicant’s country, his/her capability to finance the travel, educational, personal, and other expenses s/he is expected to incur in his/her studies in the Philippines
proof of adequate financial support to cover expenses for the student’s accommodation and subsistence, as well as school dues and other incidental expenses

copy of birth certificate and passport
original Notice of Acceptance (NOA)
scholastic records
Police Clearance Certificate issued by National Police Authorities in the student’s country of origin or residence (if the student has resided in the Philippines for less than 59 days, otherwise, the student is to submit an NBI clearance)
Quarantine Medical Clearance Certificate by the National Quarantine Office
copy of the student’s Personal History Statement (PHS) signed by the student with a 2×2-inch photograph recently taken
photocopies of the photo, date, and stamp of the latest arrival pages on the passport of the student
have completed, outside the University, at least thirty-three academic units
have all grades for all academic units they have taken included in the computation of the General Weighted Average (GWA)
satisfy the GWA requirement of the degree program applied for. The minimum GWA requirement of the University is an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 2.00 in all academic units taken
satisfy other admission requirements prescribed for each degree program such as interview, aptitude test, talent test, or written or oral examination
fall within the quota of the program at the time of application, upon evaluation based on the program admission requirements. All applicants shall be ranked according to the criteria set by the admitting program and the cut-off shall be determined by the college/unit based on their quota

DepED Certificate of Recognition to Permit or Operate (IF graduating High School in 2021 from a local HS)
High School Diploma (IF High School graduate)
Certified clear photocopy of the Permanent Secondary School Record (F137) from other schools with all the grades earned therein (IF Transferee, i.e. has taken subjects from another high school)
Proof of payment of application processing fee (for Foreign applicants)
