Last May 11, 2018, 269 Senior High School (SHS) graduates of De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) marched at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium of De La Salle University (DLSU) for the 1st SHS Commencement Exercises. The guest of honor and speaker for the event was De La Salle Philippines President Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC.

A delegation from the Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle in Beauvais, France (UniLaSalle – Beauvais) visited the university last December 6. The purpose of the visit was to discuss student exchange possibilities and matters of mutual interests between the two institutions in the areas of agriculture and food technology. The delegation, led by Director of International Relations Dr. Marie Lummerzheim, comprised of Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (Agricultural School) Dr. Anne Combaud, Academic Dean for the Rouen Campus Dr. Christophe Gangneux, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (Food & Health School) Ing. Jean Francois Tharrault, and Associate Professor (Animal Production) Dr. Marion Dutreuil. Earlier this year last April, Dr. Lummerzheim visited the university to talk about the UniLaSalle Learning Abroad Program. After the visit to the Malabon campus, the delegation headed to the DLSAU AgriVet Sciences Institute (DLSAU-AgSI) in Salikneta Farm for a whole-day visit. They were toured by Executive Director for DLSAU-AgSI and Director for Academics Ms. Apple Suplido. The Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle, a private higher education establishment offering integrated degree programs, was officially recognized as a private higher education establishment in the public interest in July 2016. The school has two campuses, in the French provinces of Beauvais and Rouen.
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)—which aims to establish a co-branding partnership to provide and offer Technical Vocational Education and Training–Information and Communication Technology (TVET-ICT) programs—was signed between De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) and MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc. (MFI) last November 28 at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall of De La Salle University.
MFI was represented by Chair and President Engr. Jose Sandejas, together with Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Externals Mr. Antonio Kosca, Jr., Trustee Members Engr. Renato Ermita and Engr. Oscar Barrera, Manager of Satellite and Branches Mr. Noel Dumaguit, MFI DLSAU Branch Manager Mr. Ed Dy Guaso, and Administration Services Head Mr. Leonardo Felipe. For DLSAU, President Dr. Bjorn Santos, Chancellor Mr. Christopher Polanco, Vice Chancellor for Academics and Research Dr. Bernardo Sepeda, and Technical and Vocational Programs Coordinator Ms. Jinky Macatulad were present.

De La Salle Araneta University Street Force, the university’s official students hip-hop dance troupe, placed 2nd Runner Up in the Grand Finals of The Wobbie’s Street Dance Competition held at World Trade Center – Manila last December 9. Our dance troupe beat other groups from all over the country in the Open–Mixed Category.
The Lasallian Language Center, in partnership with the Southeastern Korea Universities Alliance, hosted an education fair for Grade 11 & 12 students last December 12 at the Osmeña Hall. The event featured representatives from four South Korean universities: Gyeongsang National University, Kyungnam University, University of Ulsan, and Changwon National University.
The fair is a venue for foreign students to consult with South Korean university representatives about college admissions, preparatory courses, and scholarships in South Korea.
