The Business Cluster envisions a community that manifests excellence in the different core competencies of its member organizations through and with Ignatian values towards creating positive change in Philippine society.

This year, the Business Cluster aims to develop a culture in the Business Cluster by establishing initiatives, which are collaborative in nature, towards the one BC identity.

The bottom line for BC is not profit but people that are continuously developing themselves as leaders through the different core competencies. Although we see the value of money in order to be sustainable and ensure the desired impact, the business cluster ultimately promotes doing good business.

The Faith Formation Cluster (FFC) is the official cluster of all faith formation organizations under the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo.

The FFC aspires to create an outward culture of openness, fellowship and servant leadership that is geared to form Christ-centered individuals, rooted in the spirituality of St. Ignatius. The diversified core competencies of the organizations such as catechism (ACIL), Ignatian Spirituality (ACLC), social action (AtSCA) and creative evangelization (YFC-A) truly allows for holistic development of the Atenean. We take different roads, but all of these lead to only one destination, and that is God. In the frenzy of our daily lives, we are often left searching for things that make sense, for things that give us purpose. This is what the Faith Formation Cluster can offer.

Through empowered initiatives, this cluster aims to form the nation by developing proactive and sensitive individuals who, as transformed members of society, strive to live sustainable lifestyles through a bilateral development of their holistic well-being and the natural environment.

Together, the whole cluster puts heart into healthy fun in the development and promotion of its advocacies. It strives to bring the green back to nature, the rainbows over the horizon, and red hemoglobin pumping in the hearts and minds of Ateneans by pursuing the formation of Better Persons for a Better World.

The Inter-Cultural Relations Cluster is a community of people celebrating the world’s diverse culture and preserving the country’s cultural and historical heritage. We provide avenues for people of different cultures to dialogue and interact. With three organizations under our cluster, you’re sure to experience a palette of different cultures. Under the ICR we have:

• Ateneo Lingua Ars Cultura (ALAC): The official student arm of the Modern Languages Department. They seek to BRIDGE, EXPERIENCE and CELEBRATE different cultures of the world.
• Ateneo Student Exchange Council (ASEC): They aim to show the world how great it is to be a Filipino. They provide an avenue to understand other culture as you show your own.
• Ateneo Celadon: The official Chinese-Filipino organization of the Ateneo. They aim to promote unique Chinese-Filipino culture which we all encounter every day.

Join us in BRIDGING DIVERSITY and in making the rainbows of other culture meet the colors of our culture together. We’re sure to make your stay in Ateneo as colorful as possible.

Bored? Looking for “the one”? Well, MCA’s got the perfect package for you! It all starts with sharing some popcorn over a film, chatting non-stop about anything under the sun, listening to good music in concerts, and getting lured into never heard catch phrases and pick-up lines!

Communication is the key to a good relationship. With any type of medium, whether it may be with music, film, advertisements or speech, the Media and the Creative Arts (MCA) Cluster can deliver.

WE have LFC, the film-maker, who adores watching, appreciating, and critiquing film. ACOMM, the communicator, will broaden your views on techniques and will help you think more critically from a communication perspective. AMP, the musician, who values music and its production. CoSA, will hone your creativity with advertising.

All in a package, MCA has the personality skills, talent, looks, and of course, the brains. We give impact to the Ateneo community through our own respective media specializations, advocacies and art interpretations. Each organization has its own way of shaping its members into creative and adept artists and communicators. Whatever interests you have, be it journalism, cinema, production, music, advertising, or any type of media, MCA surely has something in store for you!

MCA is just not about movie marathons, jamming sessions, public speaking, and innovate advertising. MCA has a strong social thrust that uses media and the creative arts as an effective vehicle for social change.

We do it right and we do it under the spotlight! PAC is the cluster who will definitely bring it!

These organizations, distinct as they may be, are brought together by one thing: PASSION. It is because of their passion for the performing arts, be it in song, dance, music or drama, their aim is to inspire their audience through their powerful messages carried off stage and into the hearts of many. Wave after wave of performances, we hare and foster not only the appreciation for the arts but bring forth an impetus for change. PAC is living proof that THE ARTS MATTER not only here in our campus but to the world as well. The PAC orgs are making a difference not only with their performances here in our country but even to their international audience as well such as ACGS in their European Grand Prix for Choral Singing and TA for their Sintang Dalisay Tour.

Along with awesome creativity and a love for performing, a sense of family among friends bonds the members of the PAC organizations. In your quest for artistic expression and excellence, you’ll find that you’ve not only joined an organization but you’ve also found a home.

As a newcomer, you might think that the cluster is dull or monochromatic. Some people might see us as the geeks and nerds who are just drawn to studying and hanging out in the library or laboratories. But when you take a second look at each organization and get to see what they have to offer, you’ll realize that the colors of this cluster can get as crazy as you can imagine. With their excellence in their respective sciences, they can make it as fun and as engaging as you want it to be – parties, amazing races, competitions, talent workshops, field trips, magic shows, area insertions, social involvement efforts and a lot more. If you’re the type of person who wants to paint his/her canvas with a lot of colors at the same time, then our organizations best fits you.

Composed of eight awesome organizations, the Science and Technology Cluster (STC) boasts its ability to not just be excellent in the sciences but also help others see science in our daily lives. STC seeks to use science not just in fun and creative projects but also in efforts that can spark positive changes in our nation.

We have very limited time to spare in college and, mostly, we spend our days going about our own businesses. Our hectic schedules tend to deafen us of the Voice that calls us to something greater – something bigger than ourselves. In SBC, we live out this call.
 
The Sector-Based cluster is home to seven organizations, who through different means, cater to marginalized sectors of the society. Through proactive social advocacy and direct involvement, we hope to develop our diverse sectors to become self-sustainable.

The sectors of the organizations are youth and youth-oriented groups, Ateneo scholars, public elementary students, urban poor children, pediatric cancer patients, persons with disabilities and abused girls & abandoned babies. Our cluster, working as one community in the spirit of volunteerism, aims to engage the Ateneo student body to be aware of the cluster’s advocacies and to participate in its efforts through the practice of the organizations’ unique core competencies and its effective promotion.

SBC gives avenues for Ateneans to be immersed in love and service. Our members develop to become passionate leaders with a vision of a better society for others.
